I am a friend of Queen's Woods, and in May of this year I was part of a working group which planted up the Frogpool with hundreds of new plants and cleared the pool of logs and rubbish. A week later I returned to check on the plants and took a few snaps. I was really pleased that one of the photos was used in the latest edition of the Friends of Queen's Woods newsletter. It shows some of the reeds and a sign of life in the previously lifeless pool. Fingers crossed we have some amphibian visitors soon.
